The Oregon Executive MBA Alumni Board welcomes six new members: Israel Angeles, MBA '18; Henriette Burns, MBA '02; Alex Gosline, MBA '17; Brendan McNicholas, MBA '15; Sonney Sapra, MBA '18; and Nicholas Winkleblack, MBA '13. They join the current board members Kimberlee Buckingham, Erica Daley, Lisa Glynn, Jessica Kingrey, and John D. Masters. The board would like to thank Shi-Yi Liu, Gabe Authier, and Manish Sinha for their service.

What Inspired you to join the Oregon Executive MBA Alumni Board?
I feel that getting my MBA at through the Oregon Executive MBA program was one of the best and most rewarding things I've done in my life. It has given me the knowledge to not only succeed in my career, but it has also given me the tools to excel in life. I want to be active with the Oregon Executive MBA, and the best way I know how is be part of the alumni board.

I believe in the power of collaboration in community and that service is an ethical requirement for all business leaders. The Oregon Executive MBA has a broad reach in the Pacific Northwest, providing an ideal platform to realize our mission and goals, especially diversity and inclusion. What Inspired you to join the Oregon Executive MBA Alumni Board?
I wanted to join the Oregon Executive MBA alumni board for many reasons. Of those reasons, the most important is to be a champion and a steward of the program within Portland and the rest of the region. I am a proud alumnus of the program, and I believe the value proposition of the program does not stop when classes do. I want to work on strengthening the program's notoriety in the West, while also ensuring that future/current students see the ROI that kicks in after the cap and gown are worn.

Making the choice to attend the Oregon Executive MBA program was one of the best decisions of my career. Since completing my MBA, I have been fortunate to take on new roles that have allowed me to apply so much of what I learned during my time in the program. I joined the board to give back to the program because I believe in the program and the value it provides to its alumni and current students.

First, the most important reason I would like to join the Oregon Executive MBA Alumni Board is to give back to the program that has given me so much. Second, I love to connect people, and sharing my experience as a part of the program would be great way to keep alumni connected. Lastly, I'd like to be able to give back to this program, and being part of the board would give me the opportunity to do so, as well as to stay involved.
